Gmail is throwing away messages I send to a colleague and I need to look at my
SMTP log, but the script that is supposed to activate logging fails with :

error "Can’t make «class port» of «class dact» of item 7 of every «class mact» of application
\"Mail\" into type string." number -1700 from «class port» of «class dact» of item 7
of every «class mact» to string

i figured out what script that was and looking at the script i would guess that account 7 is somehow not as expected — e.g. has no ports set?

you could just wrap the lines within both repeats with a "try ... end" and at the script will then skip trying to get ports from accounts which have no ports

however if the email is reaching some people and not others, i doubt you'll find out anything from logging on your machine

Gmail only throws away messages from a particular address (the one I use all
the time) and my colleague swears that no filter is involved at his end...

i notice the originating ip (78.234.66.135) of the email you sent to the list is on one blacklist, and the pair.com server your email went through (209.68.5.15) is on two other blacklists; i don't know how Gmail decides what email to discard, but there's a good chance this is the problem
