Oh ok. I forget where I saw it, as this was quite some time ago, but I
do recall the authors noting such difficulties when building from
source and them strong recommending that binaries be used instead.
It's almost as if they released some source to make their efforts seem
genuine to the open source community, yet intentionally left out core
elements so that users would be forced to fall back on their pre-built
binaries. There's a reason why I've since left for LibreOffice.
