So, the rumor mill is heating up for new macs coming as early as the end of
this month. Of course I've heard all sorts of things, ranting from a massive
refresh of everything in May-June to a rolling refresh from June-Oct. the only
thing that does seem clear is that the first machines to get refreshed are
likely to be the MacBook Pros and MacPros as they are already disappearing out
of the supply chain.

Other than the obvious (new chipset and thunderbolt) does anyone think there
will be substantial changes to the MacPro? I know some people are
claiming/wishing for eSATA, but that seems silly to me. No way is Apple going
to do that. On the other hand, more internal SATA plugs would be cool.

The 8 core intel processors (so 16 cores on a dual processor!!) should make my
MacPro1,1 roll over and expose its vulnerable underbelly for a swift killing
strike. I'll probably opt for a singe processor in this case, but sheesh,
MOAPOWAH! is sure tempting.
