Yes. It is 10.8 capable too.

No, I can't. At least not easily.

I am trying to put a SSD in it. In order to install Lion I need to boot from 
something else. I was hoping I could boot off the HD while connected in the DVD 
area, but the connector is different. The only other thing that might work is 
getting a FW800 cable and booting into TDM, but I don't have a cable handy.

Right now I have the HD back in the MBP until I can figure this out.
