Kevin,
I know of no other way outside of using a plugin, which may or may not be
available for Windows. The dragging procedure also works on Windows Explorer,
so while it's cumbersome (and frankly silly...), it should work fine.
Also, signs are now pointing to Safari for Windows being dropped. Safari 6 was
not released for Windows and there is no longer any reference to it on the
Safari download page. You can still download the old version if you dig through
Apple's support pages, but I think the writing is on the wall. Time will tell.
