This happened to me a couple of months ago and it was bad enough that I simply blacklisted Facebook on the mailserver. Sure, I MIGHT reject a 'legitimate' email, but there's no way I am wading through that crap. If they are going to pull this sort of shit, I say bitbucket them to the nether regions of the Internet for all eternity. The upside, I never see those notification emails I kept trying to unsubscribe from, "7 of your friends have posted inane shit on their walls, come look.
