This happened to me a couple of months ago and it was bad enough that I simply 
blacklisted Facebook on the mailserver.

Sure, I MIGHT reject a 'legitimate' email, but there's no way I am wading 
through that crap. If they are going to pull this sort of shit, I say bitbucket 
them to the nether regions of the Internet for all eternity.

The upside, I never see those notification emails I kept trying to unsubscribe 
from, "7 of your friends have posted inane shit on their walls, come look. 
Pleeeeease?"

Facebook is very careful to never ever ever allow anyone to contact them. IF 
you are a major A-List celebrity, you *might* be able to get someone to deal 
with a problem, but only if your millions of twitter followers are screaming 
bloody murder.
