I just got a Transcend 128GB USB thumb drive. I'm quite impressed, the read speed is 30MB/sec and the write speed is about half that. So far so good.
Is there a way to have some sort of FileVault auto-encryption for thumb drives? That would be nice so if it's lost or lifted, the data contents won't be retrievable.
