Hi,

Is this list still active? I have not seen many posts for quite a while. I
posted 2 questions over the past couple weeks and did not get a single reply to
either, which is unusual. Oh well, let me try again with a third question.

I use Back To My Mac (B2MM) to connect my Mac Pro at home and my Mac Pro at
work. It's nice for working from home, since it allows me access to all my
files at work. I use both screen sharing and file sharing. It's always been a
bit flaky, though, with respect to its availability. It often works fine for a
few days and then stops working. By that, I mean the icon for my machine at
work does not show up in the sidebar of my Finder at home, so I can't connect.
That is the case right now (and for the past few days). When I was at work
yesterday, I could connect from work to home. But usually I want to connect
from home to work, and that is not available right now. So it's not a
symmetric problem.

In some of those cases, it turns out that my machine at work is frozen. After
I power it off (ungracefully) and back on, then B2MM works again. Yesterday,
however, the machine at work seemed fine (and could connect to home), but when
I got home again, I still could not connect to work.

Does anyone know how to get B2MM functioning again? I have tried rebooting
several times (both machines). I tried unchecking and then rechecking the B2MM
box in System Preferences. Is there some trick that I can use to get it going
again?

Thanks,

Gregg
