I have an older MacBook that has 10.6.8 on it (the max it will run) and has one
of those weird looking mini-dvi ports on it.

I have a mini-DVI to DVI dongle connected to it, then a DVI to HDMI cable
connected to a TV.

The trouble is, the TV will only look for audio on the HDMI if it is connected
and will not check the analog audio inputs (this is common on TVs).

I think we covered this at some point, but I don’t recall the solution (other
than adding an external speaker to the laptop).

How soon after the U.S. Postal Service issues the Calvin stamp will you
send a letter with one on the envelope? Watterson: Immediately. I'm
going to get in my horse and buggy and snail-mail a check for my
newspaper subscription.
