No, I think that predates the high Quality Alex voice.

Since we're on the topic though, is it possible to use the -n option to send a
say to another computer? It would be useful to be able to do something like:

-n name:port, --network-send=name:port

say -n 10.0.0.5 "Turn down the Volume!"

but that doesn't seem to work.

BTW, this (from the man page) does seem to do something

say 'Hello, [[slnc 200]] World'

So, maybe the syntax has just changed?

~/ $ say "Do not over tighten the screw."
~/ $ say "Do [[emph +]] not [[emph -]] over tighten the screw."
~/ $ say -v agnes " do [[emph +]] not [[emph -]] over tighten the screw."
~/ $ say -v agnes " do not over tighten the screw."

I don't hear a difference, the not gets an emphasis either way.

But these two are very slightly different. I think:

~/ $ say -v agnes " do not over tighten the screw."
~/ $ say -v agnes " [[emph +]] do [[emph -]] not over tighten the screw."

Battlemage? That's not a profession. It barely qualifies as a hobby.
'Battlemage' is about impressive a title as 'Lord of the Dance'. <PAUSE>
I'm adding Lord of the Dance to my titles.
