Thanks Arno and LuKreme. As I'm loathe to leave my iPod in the car, I thought I would dedicate a 8GB flash drive (or microSD card) to the job instead. Cheap, easy, no biggie if I lose it or if it fries.
But I seem to recall people having difficulty using iTunes to automatically export songs from their library (downconverting them in the process to mp3 bitrate files). Something about iTunes littering the target device with other hidden files that confuse the car stereo unit. I will go ahead with your suggestions (.mp3 files in top-level folders, FAT32 formatted). Probably safest to stick with 128kbps mp3 files, so it will play in any car stereo unit. -Carl _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
