Hi:

My Time Machine backup started failing yesterday. After playing around with
the sparse disk image file (OK, really just trying to move it to a
different folder to try starting a new backup from scratch - the move
failed), I suspect that there may be something wrong with the disk image.

I also tried to mount the disk image directly, which partially failed. It
never showed up in the finder, but when I tried to back up again, it told
me the image was in use.

I also could not delete the disk image (I left the deleting progress bar
for about 14 hours...).

Can anyone give me some advice about how to repair a corrupted disk image,
if this is possible?

Also, if the issue is the time capsule disk, can anyone give me any advice
about checking/repairing a time capsule disk?

Or, am I completely missing something?

Thank you in advance for any help, suggestions or advice!

Jeff
