I have a magic mouse that connects to my laptop by bluetooth. If I'm plugged in, no problem. If I unplug and run on just battery, after a period of time (haven't nailed it down), the mouse stops responding. Bluetooth itself becomes really slow responsive (can't turn off/on) and every time I try the settings, I get the beach ball for a while. I can't get the mouse to come back, even when I plug in again.
The only way to fix seems to be to rebloot the computer, then (if plugged in) bluetooth seems to be working fine again. I couldn't find any info on this (note: I am notably bad at online search, I think google has it out for me!), has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Thanks. -D.
