Is there any program for adjusting the clock tick?
bash-3.2# sysctl kern.clockrate
kern.clockrate: { hz = 100, tick = 10000, tickadj = 0, profhz = 100, stathz =
100 }
Ntpd has calculated that my drift rate is less than -500, and that's as far as
it will go -- so the "tick" value needs to be less than 10,000. But sysctl can
only print, not change, this setting.
Is there a program that will do this?
If not, where do I need to start looking for the documentation to do this
myself?
