My friend's computer somehow got some malware. He thinks he cleared it off, but
I doubt it. Any additional steps to recommend?

Last week I think the Zeus Virus tried to get onto my iMac. I was reading USA
Today online and all of a sudden the webpage changes to a white background with
this message to call some 800 number or my computer would be locked. Exited
out of Safari and when I went back in I cleared the history. Then the iMac
started to act-up. Webpages loaded at a snails pace, the colored ball spun a
lot, and even iCal was slow. So, I rebooted and since then everything has been
OK. Also noticed something called "CouponZone" showed up in the Finder under
Applications. I trashed that and emptied the trash. That app was constantly
re-routing me to webpages that wanted to sell me stuff to clean my hard drive.
Thought for a while I would need a new computer.
