Can a launch agent force other things to wait? I.e. -- On login, either loginwindow or launchd (not sure which) wants to run a bunch of things for you, such as Dock and Finder, and a bunch of things that show up in the menu bar. Is there a way to make sure that this completes first?
(This would actually solve TWO issues -- the second being able to force JackDmp to start up before anything that generates sound.)
