Hi all:

I recently tried deleting an old copy of Safari Tech Preview and have some
items in the trash that refuse to delete. When deleting I get the msg that the
items below are in use:

/private/var/folders/l_/v64sxdkd6fn8xb9xdmb6w5j40000gn/0

com.apple.SafariTechnologyPreview

I’ve logged out and back in again as well as doing a restart but whatever the
linked process it must respawn. Activity monitor doesn’t offer any clues as to
which process is causing the problem.

The only way I can think of emptying the trash is via terminal and sudo. Could
someone tell me the commands for using sudo to force empty the trash. I’m
running in a user account

Thanks,

Chris
