You're right – I've discovered that AnyDesk sort of does what I want, except 
that it interrupts anything that's going on after about 15 seconds and bitches 
that it's going to close the connection unless you extend it, at which point it 
throws you back to the AnyDesk app over and over and over and over until you 
get tired of it or your client fumbles it and  you get disconnected anyway.
