I know for a fact that I have screen shared an iPad from a Mac, but it may have been from AnyDesk, and not Apple screen sharing.
Until recently, the operation was practically useless, because those Apple security restrictions would cause a message on the order of every 20 seconds nagging one side or the other to reaffirm that they wanted the sharing to continue, and 20 seconds isn't long enough to get much done. If you missed reaffirming even once, the session was gone and you would have to start all over again. From what I remember of recent operation, at least that insanity has gone away. I don't rightly remember whether I could control the iPad or not, but in such cases, even being able to see what the client is doing and what mistakes he's making still raise you head and shoulders over a blind phone session. > On Mar 5, 2021, at 12:32 AM, Bob Stern <[email protected]> wrote: > > Also, I reviewed the documentation for Team Viewer and Any Desk.
