I have a set of solid colours that I use for screen backgrounds. In the past
when transferring to a new machine it was simple to move them over and place
them in the Library/Desktop Pictures/Solid Colors folder.

Probably for security reasons this appears to no longer be possible as that
folder has been moved to System/library/Desktop Pictures/Solid Colors There
may be two possible options:

1. Use command line and (probably) sudo to move them. Although I have used
CLI I’m not familiar with the commands sufficiently to be sure of what I am
doing unless someone could give me a copy/paster terminal command to move the
individual files.

2. To use the custom color section in System Prefs. To do this I need to know
the RGB values of the current solid colours of the .png files and to be able to
use the standard colour picker to match them in the Monterey system prefs.
Unfortunately I can’t see any way of getting the colour picker to display the
RGB values for any of the files.

Can anyone offer any help/ideas?

Best,

Chris
