No doubt, but my problem is still how to install Encode in Panther.
Use the Panther developer tools to install it. The Dec 2002 tools are for Jaguar - frankly, I'm surprised they work at all with Panther.
Where do I find these "Developer Tools that matches Panther"?
The Xcode CD is included in the package mailed by Apple, and is also downloadable from the ADC site.
