if anyone else has any platform-specific installation notes, i'd be happy to put those up as well.
Philippe notes that the button test (Gtk2/t/02.GtkButton.t) crashes X11 on his system as part of 'make test', but not when he just runs it from a terminal. can anyone repeat this problem? (i am using X11 on Jaguar without problems, but it's an older version of X11.)
