efax: Thu Nov 13 21:09:36 2003 Error: can't open pre-lock file /var/spool/lock/TMP..03273: Permission denied
Then I tried is as su, I get further, but it never actually start dialing , it gets to this line:
efax: 09:16 dialing T915472049
but it doesn't actually dial.
Also, I think but am not sure, that one needs to install GhostView to fax Poscript files.
Is there anywhere one can go for help for these sorts of issues?
thanks

Has anyone manages to use the new built in faxing software (on Panther) to send a fax from a perl script? I'd very much like to know how this might be done.
I don't have a fax/modem to try it with, but the command-line tool
'fax' looks promising. Check the man page (i.e. 'man fax' in a Terminal
window) for docs.
Yeah, I have had very little luck scripting the Print interface on Mac OS X.
The CLI tools might be a much better option (unless Panther has improved on
this, but I can find no evidence of it).
