Save this as a last resort :) I think [temporarily] freeing up swap files by rebooting will give a good, quick shot of wiggle room, and then from there he can try cleaning out files he doesn't need, backing up to cds, etc. Nuking the devtools won't get him anywhere with CPAN :) -- Chris Devers
