[MacPerl-Forum] using *nix cgi's with macperl

I am trying to use a cgi script that was written for a *nix system 
but I am using a mac with macperl.  I'm pretty sure I have to convert 
the newlines from "\" to ":" but apart from that I don't know what to 
do.  Is there a program to convert it in one step or is there a 
similar *somewhat* simple way of doing this right?
