I apologize for bugging the members of this list... I will only ask
this one last time.

I have been programming with MacPerl for a while now and have
developed some fairly large programs. I wanted to try developing
some user interactive (graphical) applications and would like to find
some examples of code that would help me get started. Now I looked
at the code samples that folks previously pointed me at but....
those are very sophisticated, and complex, and specifically,
un-documented. With no comments its pretty hard trying to figure out
what I need to do to get something written. Chris's Calculator
program, and Kevin Reid's Chaser program are super examples, but with
almost no explanation of what is for what. (BTW, I tried sending an
e-mail to Kevin Reid's e-mail address given in the code but the mail
bounced with a host unknown error).

In any case, I know I'm opening myself up to possible flames, etc., but...
does anyone have an example (that is the equivalent of a "Hello
World" program) that shows the beginning steps required to get
started with a GUI MacPerl app? Something that just displays an
image and then perhaps does something else if the user 'clicks' on
the picture.

Anyway, I appreciate the help/advice/comments/criticisms/etc.
