[MacPerl-Porters] MacPerl 5.6.1a4 won't launch

I just installed 5.6.1a4. When I open the application, I get this error
from the Finder:

    The application "MacPerl 5.6.1a4" could not be opened because
    "StdCLib" could not be found.

Did I get the wrong build? Is this a known problem?
