There is a book from Prime Time Freeware, I believe, called
MacPerl: Power and Ease.
There is an HTML version of it up at
http://macperl.com/macperl/ptf_book/HTML/
though of course purchasing it from
http://www.ptf.com is recommended as a long-term solution (I intend to,
myself.)
For Perl in general the two O'Reilly publications,
Learning Perl (tutorial)
and
Programming Perl (reference), are (long-term) essential... I couldn't get
along without them on my projects.
My personal opinion. (Sorry if I sent this to the wrong email address- bit
of difficulty getting used to the switchover.)
