Not necessarily so. "Failed to launch MacPerl (possibly because of a
memoy problem)" is the catch all error message for *whatever* reason a
droplet may fail to launch MacPerl.
I just tested it, threw away all copies of the MacPerl executable (after
Stuffit'ing it, of course). If I try running a droplet, I get this error
message. So, don't be blinded by the error message.
