Todd,
I'm sorry, but I can't help you with the Metrowerks compiler stuff, because I don't
own them.
I've just built String-CRC32 with the free Apple compilers and linkers, and that works
without a hitch. Obviously, it's a Codewarrior issue. Please note that the examples
were created in May 1999, when CW was at release Pro 2 or 3 -- things could have
changed. Or you have to change the configuration of your compiler(s)/environment, I
don't know.
Btw, Matthew Langford, maintainer of HTML::Parser, provided a CW IDE projekt
"Parser_XS.proj.xml". You may want to take a look at it:
ftp://home.mindspring.com/users/mlangford/Parser_XS.proj.xml
To the private copy of this mail, I've attached an MPW worksheet with the build steps
needed for the PPC shared lib using MrC/PPCLink.
HTH.
Best regards,
--Thomas
