ok, let me make myself more clear - I was not very clear in my last email
I want to be able to upload cgi scripts to a web server - I am able to
upload them, but they do not have the correct file creator/type. I am
forced to go and sit in front of the server and change the creator and type.
I am wondering if I could write a cgi macperl script that can change the
file creator/type.
when you first go to the script, it would ask for a filename and the
creator/type. someone would fill out the form and hit submit, and the
script would change the file creator/type for the specified file
So, in the end, I can sit at my computer at home, upload a file, and then go
to the cgi script and change the file creator and type so that the script
would run on the web server
is this more clear?
