Once you download/build MacPerl 5.6.1a1, please jaunt over to the MacPerl
site, go to the testing page, register as a user, enter your configuration
information (with initial results), and then, if you are so inclined, start
running the basic perl test suite and report your results.

        http://macperl.sourceforge.net/

This will help us all see what tests are good, which are bad, etc.

Note that you can report your configuration even if you don't do any tests;
I want a good idea of where this works and where it doesn't. As far as
testing is concerned, I am mostly interested in the standard perl test
suite at this point. But everything else is fair game; file those bug
reports!  :-)

Oh, I almost forgot: the binaries are FAT, and built with -DDEBUGGING.

This is Cc: to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for informational purposes.
Meta-discussion of 5.6.1 is fine for the macperl list, but technical
discussion belongs over at macperl-porters.

Thanks,
