[MacPerl] password change

Hello List

I am not sure, if this is the correct place, but perhaps somebody can give 
me some further hints.

I want to access the passwords of an apache server, which are created with 
htpasswd, and let the user change his/her passwords,

are there modules handling this, probably, but how are they called, what am 
I looking for ?
