Sorry if this is old hat. I want to deal with the serial ports on the Mac
in a manner similar to what I've been able to do on Unix (FreeBSD).
However, I'm too old and slow to find anything relevant in the
documentation that either tells me what to do or that I can't get there
from here (though I'm beginning to suspect that is the case).
So, is there a way to open serial ports and what is it?
