I've put together a basic DBI bundle for MacPerl 5.6.1aX. Here's the description:
*** Description
This is the Mac-DBI-bundle 0.10 distribution for MacPerl 5.6.1 (and higher). The
bundle includes modules, readme files and test files from the following distributions:
DBI-1.20 (*) Author: Tim Bunce
Text-CSV_XS-0.22 (*) Author: Jochen Wiedmann
SQL-Statement-0.1020 (*) Author: Jochen Wiedmann
DBD-CSV-0.1027 Author: Jochen Wiedmann
DBD-RAM-0.072 Author: Jeff Zucker
The full distributions are available from your nearest CPAN archive. Distributions
marked with a (*) are extension modules, and have been built with the Apple MrC
compiler. Above modules are authored by different people and are subject to separate
copyrights.
*** NOTE:
This bundle contains shared libraries, which are loaded dynamically by MacPerl --
well, normally. Currently, dynamic loading of shared libs does NOT work with the MPW
MacPerl tool when built with Apple's MrC compiler. However, dynamic loading always
works with the MacPerl application and the MacPerl tool when built with the Metrowerks
compilers. Hence, those of you who have downloaded a pre-built MacPerl 5.6.1aX
distribution should have no problems. Note also that dynamic loading is NOT supported
by the 68K versions of the MacPerl application and tool. And finally, note that this
distribution will NOT work with good old MacPerl 5.2.0r4.
Until we find a better place or another form of distribution, you are able to download
