Hi there. I'm not really sure if this is the correct place to ask my
question, but here goes anyway.

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to MacPerl, used it some but not
a lot. I've been subscribed to this list for a while, but most of what
gets said here is over my head. I really just need to devote some time
to just sitting down with MacPerl and hammering away until I get
comfortable with it.

Anyway, what I'm wanting to do is take some files marked up with
DocBook tags and convert them to various other formats, mostly PDF,
HTML, and maybe RTF also.

Is there any way to do this in MacPerl? Maybe a droplet or something? I
need it for < OSX, so I can't use real Perl. Ultimately I think I'd
like to use it in conjunction with BBEdit, sending an open file to
STDIN. (I think that's how it's done. Newbie!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Patrick Wynne
