How can I solve the following: In different webpages that allready become scanned and opened by my written perl-cgi shall the occuring matches of the specified searchcriteria of my searchform be replaced as follows the files content (for example) is: Hi folks. the searchcriteria in the searchform is: FOL at the moment my engine delivers the following back to the searchers browser: Hi <b>FOL</b>ks. But it shall deliver: Hi <b>fol</b>ks. How is the exact syntax of the correct regular expression that I need?
