Simon, I cannot get anyone to give me more information about this. The code is not as simple as I had hoped it would be. As such, I won't be fixing this any time soon, though I would very much like it to be done. I can think of, offhand, two ways to do it. One would be modifying toke.c and maybe perl.c to be smarter (or, perhaps, dumber). The other would be constructing a source filter system. That might work well for some stuff (scripts) but perhaps not as well for others (modules). I am not sure how easy either one would be to do. If you want to work on it, I can give you all the help I can muster. Let me know (followup to macperl-porters, or perhaps perl5-porters for discussion of the larger issues involved, for further discussion about how to possibly do it, if you like). -- Chris Nandor [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pudge.net/ Open Source Development Network [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://osdn.com/
