Dear Thomas, That's right, I entirely missed the 5.6 distribution at CPAN. It's all my fault, and I am sorry for this (I'm repeating this three times :-). I have already installed the correct distribution over the older, and the module runs fine. > It's always a good idea to look at this page before installing an extension > module. > Here, the intended MacPerl version for the module is clearly marked and you'll > find the proper link. > > Btw, if there are any problems with any module I've built for MacPerl, please > feel free to contact me before you contact the author. From the README.Mac As an aside, a really minor and a bit pedantic correction: 'README.Mac' on the older distribution, where 'README.txt' is on the 5.6 distribution. > it should have been clear that I'm responsible for the MacPerl port, while > Steffen is the author of Date::Calc. I will directly contact you next time, though I'm afraid your Yahoo account - the one mentioned in the README.txt - is actually rejecting messages with an over quota error. :-) > Best regards, > > --Thomas Thanks for your quick and helpful response.
