Hi *,

i have written some small MacPerl scripts which use the
MacPerl::DoAppleScript command to launch other applications. mainly for
processing of tex-Files, etc. I don't know nothing about AE-handling and
so i don't care if it might be slower, etc. At home (G3 B&W 350, OS
D-9.1, MacPerl 5.6.1r2) everything works fine but in my office at uni
(PM 4400/200, OS 8.6, MacPerl 5.6.1r2) it _always_ makes my Mac crash
after returning from the first call of a AppleScript, i.e. The first
programm is launched and does what it's supposed to do but then my Mac
is just freezing in. :-( That's so disappointing! It happens always the
same way at uni and it doesn't make any difference if i change the
application which is called. At home it has never occured...

Are problems like this know here? Any suggestions what i could change?

TIA,
Martin
