Hi, There is a package (Perl-Pack 2.1) that may be downloaded from the Nisus site. http://www.nisus.com/Products/NisusWriter/Support/Macros/Files/PerlPack21.sit.hqx. I could send you a copy if you wish. It contains Perl-fire, a Perl script (+droplet) used for executing any Perl script from another application. The API (Application Programming Interface) for Perl is independent from the other application. It only specifies clipboard and file contents. The docs have been written for NisusWriter users. Thus, they are in Nisus document format. However, they can be opened (without seeing the formatting) with any text editor. To see the formatting, you can download free editors (Nisus Compact and NisusWriter 4.1.6) from the page: http://www.nisus.com/free/Login_nw.php Unless you are going to use NisusWriter, it is sufficient to read the doc API 2.0, and the sections of User-doc 2.1 that pertain to Perl, viz. "installation" and "log file". There are also comments within Perl-fire. Best
