Sure! Sorry, another typo. But as you mentioned that does not cause trouble with a classic MacOS.
You might also want to use Mac::Glue and Mac::Apps::Launch.
WOW 8-) Mac::Glue is what i was looking for. I saw it before but then got a bit confused about all this AppleEvent stuff.
But this is terrific. It was _so_ easy!! I just drop the mpost app on the gluemac droplet and added the right command line to your example and it is so fast now.
Before, using MacPerl::DoAppleScript, it sometimes happened that i dropped a file on my MacPerl dropplet and for a few seconds just nothing happened at all and then the external app was launched, etc. but now it is like i want it to be :-)
