i want a MacPerl script to be executed automatically every ten minutes. I saved the script as a droplet and with a cron tool i'm able to start it in the right intervalls. My problem is just that the MacPerl application stays in front after executing the script. I tried to quit it with Mac::Apps:Launch but then i get a dialog which is asking if i'm sure to quit the app. That's quite reasonable under normal circumstances but in my special case it's just annoying.
Is there a way to do some kind of forced quit? Or another approach for my whole plan in general?
Best regards Martin
