I don't understand.  The README says Mac::Carbon is a collection of perl
modules.  What could make it more clear that it is not an application?

Is there any need for such a thing?  If all you need is a nice UI to run
perl under, try TextWrangler, a free "Lite" version of BBEdit for Mac OS X.

Mac::Carbon is just some of the same modules that are available under MacPerl.
