Some additional information: prunille:~> port installed m4 The following ports are currently installed: m4 @1.4.4_0 (active) m4 @1.4.8b_1+with_default_names So, the two questions are: 1. Why doesn't upgrade deactivate m4 1.4.4_0 first? 2.
