One thing I forgot to say, I started using svnmerge.py to manage the
release branch per Blair's advice and it is indeed proving to be
quite a nifty tool. The help/tutorial claims it handles manual merges
just fine and still offers quite a bit of magic if they happen... but
maybe not as much as if they hadn't (still haven't used it enough to
know what we'd be loosing if we mix).
So in any case, could you please consider using it if you're gonna
handle merging? Otherwise I can do it if you prefer.
