I don't have time to work on this, but I thought I'd forward this
message thinking the Macports community may not be aware of Scott
Cantor's interest in bringing Shibboleth to Macports. Maybe there's
interest here in helping Scott.
Shibboleth would be a welcome addition to Macports, just making it
more easily installable. I know increasingly web services are
utilizing Shibboleth, more so in Leopard.

Subject: RE: A Shibboleth portfile
I seem to remember mention of a Shibboleth portfile that was being
developed for the Macports system. Is that correct? Is there more
information about it?
I created portfiles for all the dependencies and posted them, but
didn't
realize that the system doesn't support http:// port trees. They
should work
if copied down onto a machine, but I have no way to setup an rsync
server to
support a remote tree.

The final portfile will take a lot more work and I haven't had time
to do
it. Nobody else seems to care enough to bother, so I guess it will
have to
wait.
