Adium is a chat client for OS X.

Why a portfile for Adium? It's easily downloadable as a disk image
from the project's web site and already includes its own auto-
update mechanism.
I use it and I use MacPorts (via a clumsy manual process) to sync
installed software on my 2 laptops and since I used the portfile, I
thought others might want to as well.
