I am trying to run nfsen, which starts up nfcapd and it crashes and lists the parent process as "perl". The poster in the nfsen conference says he finally compiled and installed non-port version of perl and that solved it, but I don't know how or what options he used. I tried MacPorts perl 5.8 and 5.10 and also tried +threads and +shared variants to no avail. Can anyone give a wild guess as to what might be the problem or how I might troubleshoot this?
