Calling Python Guru!

Ticket #16400 is a python2.5 module that I seem to have working on my dev box but the maintainer is unable to get functioning as well. I managed to get it working with the addition of the cocoa bindings for pyobjc.
Can you please take a look at our conversations and port files and offer some suggestions?
